This helped us when we found one of our chickens floating in the chicken coop due to a flood. The blow dryer worked perfectly and she’s back to normal!

In a winter night. So my family and I watmed him up with a hair dryer and warmed up towels for him. I just saw this site and it was useful to know that i did the right thing. Im a little scared tho because even if its warm he cant walk as good as he used to and when he tries his head moves Side to side and im scared that when he sleeps he wont wake up please tell me if there is anything else i can do for the poor thing.?

It had started raining before we could get them home and inside, but the temperature was 66 degrees. I was completely shocked to see two of them down. I grabbed them and went running inside to a sink of warm water. It took a few minutes, but they came back. I just wanted to comment though that they can go into a hypothermic state at much warmer temps than people might think.
